Every time I tune in to watch a Dallas Stars game, they lay an egg.

They’ve been laying eggs a lot this year. And Overrated Oettinger gets paid like $8.25 million next year lol.

If Oettinger played on some mediocre team I’m pretty sure he’d have pedestrian numbers. I constantly fail to see what’s so great about him other than he did show a real ability to be a strong workhorse goalie in 22-23 and had a very good season that year. He wound up really going splat in the playoffs that year though.

His 2022 hard luck loss playoff series against the Flames was talked about like Hasek’s 1994 series against us.
