This is their upcoming schedule. They’re f***ed for this year. If they’re somehow not f***ed then they’re going to make a miraculous run for the ages

Friday at Dallas in the evening
Sunday vs Carolina in the afternoon
Monday at the Rock in the afternoon

That is a brutal 3 games in 3.75 day stretch

I think they have the Rangers at third hardest remaining strength of schedule on Tankathon. Or maybe they're even second? I peaked it this morning.

We're at around 24th I think it was? Meaning we have a softer schedule of teams than what we've faced already.

Hockey reference has us at 10th hardest strength of schedule so far this year.

When they rank the remaining strength of schedule the worse teams always have the toughest, as most teams are gonna be better than them.

I pulled it up again. Rangers have the second hardest, Detroit has the hardest. The Islanders have the fourth toughest, so they're season is almost definitely over, as they're already 2 games below NHL 500 and the loser points only help you when you're actually above NHL 500, which they are not.

Pittsburgh's remaining strength of schedule isn't too tough and they're at NHL 500, so I think it's reasonable to expect them to finish above the two New York teams by season's end.

That's 6 shots on goal? Or 6 attempted?

Nashville is known to be one of the buildings that overcounts shots and many buildings would have only counted that as one shot on goal total because they don't count rebound shots.

Sounds like those other rinks are undercounting shots not Nashville overcounting

A lot of the problems with the Rangers are mental, but you also can't ignore the fact that they have only two wins against teams currently in a playoff position and had a pillow-soft schedule to start. They're going into the teeth of their schedule and they're down bad. Somehow, it might get worse.

For their sake, they'd better hope Panarin isn't out for much longer. The other vets are underachieving and the youth aren't getting a fair shake. And if you can't get a single goal against the worst team in the NHL playing without their best defenseman by a large margin, then there's something deeply wrong with your strategy.
Panarin being out exposes them to the ends of the earth. really is baffling how much worse they look without him.

They've also been down Fox for the majority of the year because Lindgren-Fox is horrendous. Absolutely insane Lavi's thrown that pair out so often when Fox is still his regular Norris self away from Lindgren.

I don’t mind video review, but coaches on the bench should have no contact with video coaches during the game. Also, ban ipad on the bench.
