Lou/Roy for unemployment 2025!
I'd have to think this is Roy's last NHL head coaching gig, right?
Even if someone thinks he can be a good head coach, he has a lot of skeletons in his closet that seem to get overlooked, maybe because they happened 15-25 years ago. Most people have unfortunately forgotten all about those things, so there's no questions when someone goes to hire him in the 2020s.

It took him a really long time to get job number two though.
I think he went almost 7.5 years from the time he left Colorado to the time Lou hired him?
He can still say as of right now that he’s never been fired from an NHL job.

Surprised the winter classic isnt Chicago vs Chicago.
Roy isn’t getting another coaching job. He left the Avs as a mess (though they got Makar from it) and this Isles stint isn’t going much better. I think most people have an understanding that the Jack Adam’s year was a fluke.

Sometimes when I am watching Non-Devils hockey it looks so slow to me depending upon the teams. One time recently, my son came in and asked if I was watching minor league hockey and it was the Blue Jackets and Ducks.

Maybe not up front but they probably have the best defense in the league in terms of modern hockey, everyone can move the puck and play the body somewhat
