CBJ and Isles would lose the tiebreaker to us, they're irrelevant.

Yes. Only the Rangers can catch us from outside the playoffs. Technically the Rangers can win out and we lose out in regulation and the Devils still make it if the Rangers go to OT twice in their final five games. But otherwise one points gained/loss ends the Metro race.

If they somehow tie us in the first few tiebreakers, I'm pretty sure regular season H2H comes into effect which we steam rolled them in this year. Chances are they lose to the Islanders on Thursday if I had to bet

The second tie breaker is is ROW, which is the same gap. Then total wins which would be tied as well. Then it goes to head to head.

So I think tomorrow going to a shootout would clinch it as well.

Look at the Rags schedule, they're not beating any of those teams after the Islanders if it gets to that point. Like I said before, the Islanders will probably relish taking them out on Thursday if the Flyers don't tomorrow

I feel like this season (at least since after Christmas) is an extension of my anxiety.

When I find myself thinking “I’m not allowed to have nice things” I think of this year’s team.

I definitely think they’ll lose a point somewhere. Even if it’s not until game 82.

The Rangers have constantly teased getting back into it, only to completely take themselves out again.

I’ve said a lot of times this year that they’ve done the “just when you thought we were back in they pull us back out!” Thing.

And recently they’ve seemed to just do nothing but underwhelm.

Ya, I mean a lot has to go wrong for the Devils to miss. I get the anxiety, I was there for a few months but the East is just that bad this year + Rags have no chance. Flyers or Isles will win the next 2 days v them

I wonder what kind of odds were given if yuu were to bet on a Canucks win just after the Stars scored the EN goal to make it 5-2 …
Or imagine if you had any sort of large bet placed on the Stars winning ? Lol. You’d lose your shit watching it live …

I have been to a lot of Habs games lately because I have to take out clients...

I never thought I would say this because I just can't deal with their obnoxious fan base most of the time, but man they are fun and exciting to watch.

With the addition of Demidov, I can't see how they don't do well for the next 5-7 years.

They're exciting, but they're not very good - it's fine for them to have a random good year, especially when the draft is weak, but they have a lot of work to do. I don't think they'll make the playoffs next season.
