If we stay ahead of Rangers, Blue Jackets and Islanders the Habs and Wings don’t matter.

The lead on those three Metro teams is now 4 games. All three are tied.

The Rags are done, they just lost to a team that got creamed the night before 6-2, had Shesterkin v a backup and LOST 2-1. They also have no games in hand or equal games v Habs/Isles/CBJ or Red Wings. The Wings are probably toast too.

The PDO huffing humpty Habs shoot 18% again and Montembeault’s 88% save percentage does nothing to threaten a loss for them.

But another horrible loss for the Rangers.

That’s 30 regulation losses for them. 8 points behind us and even in games played.
