Them having Igor in general versus the shit at the bubble was always an advantage. Even if they play bad, he can carry them. They just needed goal support.
 
Tampa are in trouble. I had a huge post written about them and accidentally deleted it while trying to copy it to post in this thread rather than the GDT.

And they were still shooting 1.9% above the league average coming into tonight.

Columbus, Ottawa and Montreal are all on their tail. Boston is ahead of them but only on technicality due to having more games played.

Just a game up on Boston, Ottawa and Columbus but they have the fewest games played of anyone. But they are squarely on the bubble. MoneyPuck should have them down to 70% to make after the loss tonight and Hockeyviz at 79%. So that is a 1 in 4 shot at missing.
 
I can totally picture the Avs season going down the shitter after that trade. That’s a huge shakeup and not the positive kind it would seem.

He had no chance on both goals. Him being 6th in the league in save % while playing behind those two defenses this season has been impressive

I like him a lot. Wanted Fitz to target him over the summer. I think its more of a lateral move for Canes. But obviously Canes had to do something because Necas made it pretty clear he wasn’t staying
