Do I give the goalie a stoppable goal for that? It was an error on his part to vacate the net when he shouldn't have? Wasn't it? It wasn't only him, but he did vacate the net. And he was credited with a goal against and being on the ice for it.

Pretty much everybody but Montembault and Kovacevic thought the play was dead so I can't really blame the goalie for also thinking it was dead. After watching it again the music in the arena stsrted playing so even they thought it was dead, and probably led the players to think so too. That's just one of those weird ass hockey plays that we'll probably never see again.

They’re always hot and cold. Same thing happened last year.

It’s ridiculous how no one in this division is anywhere near out of it besides Columbus. It’s not too much better in the Atlantic, but there’s at least two teams out of it at this point over there in Buffalo and Ottawa.

And holy shit, Buffalo has played SIX more games than Ottawa. Columbus has also played the same number of games (38) as Buffalo.

Only a month or two ago I thought Kahkonen was possibly bound for Europe soon enough.

He may actually be bound for a playoff team as a deadline rental. He's been playing pretty good this year. Especially since the former #29 for the Devils stopped getting more games than him.

And I'm realllllyyyyy surprised Blackwood lost his starting job with the Sharks to Kahkonen.

Not sure how sustainable this is for Kahkonen. Certainly not on this team.

Rememeber when the Sharks masqueraded for 2 or 3 weeks as not one of the worst teams the NHL has seen in the last at least handful of years? Good times those were.

I always think the music and entertainment at these events are cringy. I haven't heard Sir Mix a Lot in about 30 years. And they bring him out to perform a song that wasn't even his? Really? lol

I guess this is too family oriented to bring a guy at there singing about liking big butts!

It's always the unknown (when they have one) that winds up salvaging the entertainment portion of these games.

I'm actually surprised they didn't bring in one of those Seattle guys, but maybe one of them is coming in for the intermissions? I don't know.
