OOT Scoreboard 2023-24 season - part II

I watched every second of last nights game and todays, and I just noticed each teams logo and goal total above the ice in the stadium.

For a little while last night they had the 2 on the Devils side and I was wondering why they were highlighting Brendan Smith, then I was like oooooooooh

I don’t really care if the Rangers get a point or two. They have no bearing on us anymore, unless you think they have the potential for an 8 or 10 game losing streak, all the way we charge up the standings.

But today’s game could potentially put him under water if he gives up a couple or three more goals.


I’m not even sure why Roy is considered a good coach. Because he’s successful with coaching teenagers (and putting out contracts on their lives?6 and was an all time great player?

He won the Jackass Adams in 2014, all the way the entire analytics community (which was much smaller at the time) easily predicted their demise the next season. And they never made the playoffs again under him.

And they still didn’t have the balls to fire him in Colorado. He had to quit on like September 1st. Before the upcoming year.

I remember when he berated Duchene for celebrating a milestone goal in a game where they were trailing 6-0 or 5-0 at the time he scored it.

I’m glad Lou makes him shave though. He looked like a 60 year old fishing boat captain at the end of his time coaching Colorado when he had that beard.

back when i didn't have facial hair and used a razor i made it a ritual to never shave on game day for my soccer matches... hated the salty sweat on a freshly shaved face.

Zach Parise always had the very fine soul patch. He'd never let it grow probably much longer than stubble. It was always pretty fine and thin. He did that both with us and the Islanders.

I swear there was a time where Petr Sykora had a goatee during the regular season.

I mean if this team is having issues with the Islanders on their heels then it's an issue in itself. The Flyers schedule is absurd, they'll continue to tumble imo
