If the Leafs lose this series, I expect Samsonov to be a bigger villain in Toronto than Travis Green is in New Jersey.

At least for a little while. It won't be like Messier in Vancouver or anything. I don't think anybody will give a shit in 10-20 years from now. He'll just be a mere fraction of the Leafs almost 80 years (in the event their cup drought is still going in 20 years) of ineptitude.

But he'll be a goat here for a while.

It's actually really picked up since the scoring started. Every time the puck goes to the Leafs end I'm picturing this sieve getting beaten on something.

Ullmark looks like a comedian who thinks he's been canceled unfairly.
If the NHL were wrestling, I could totally see him jumping off the bench, nailing Samsonov with the stunner and taking the net himself for the Leafs. And the Bruins losing the game, with all their fans hurling trash at Ullmark and chanting that he sucks.

Legit heel turn type stuff.

This game is actually a lot more interesting to me at 1-1.

If it makes it to OT, I'm not sure it'll be a long one or multiple OT's, but I wouldn't mind at this point.

I could see the Leafs being another ''Needs a goalie'' team in the offseason.

Woll should be fine, but Woll is actually older than he seems. Turning 26 in July.

He's just now had his first real NHL season and he spent a decent amount of it injured.

Joel Edmundson makes Brendan Smith look skilled
Ahh, good ole' Steady Eddy. That's what John Forslund called him lol.

I remember when he was a real want from a few on here back in 2021 or whatever year he was a UFA fairly recently.

I think he's bounced around to a few different teams since.

One of these teams is better than the other here and kind of has been all season long.

One of these teams also has a significantly superior goaltender, this season and throughout both of their careers.

They are absolutely going after someone new, Samsonov was waived earlier this year. I guess if he wins the Conn Smythe they'll re-sign him but I expect him gone.
