Scouts don’t know stuff. In retrospect it was a weak draft after Jack, so players got overhyped. The Rangers landing at number 2 (and their rival landing #1) also put the hype in overdrive. I’m not sure the hype of Kakko vs Jack debate happens if say the Kings won the #2 pick.

Odd fact: 4 of the 31 first round picks in that draft (Byram, Cozens, Krebs and Ryan Johnson) are now Sabres.

That feels like that was the game there. Dallas just can't get it together to score. So many flubs and unforced errors. Then when they get it through, it's been a fairly easy save for Skinner

What an incredibly frustrating loss for Dallas. Edmonton outshot 35 to 10 and wins the game. Dallas just couldn’t get a bounce. So many deflections and rebounds and nothing bounced their way. It wasn’t meant to be tonight.

Where was the effort, desperation and focus they showed tonight last game and in the final two periods of game 4?

On the other hand, it’s also hard to imagine this generation’s greatest player in his peak years being four wins away from the cup and not getting the job done.

Florida is hands down the better deeper team oilers just have the best player in the game. Will be interesting to see if oilers come out flat game 1 with the emotional win of getting to the finals.

This is one of the most interesting cup finals matchups In a while.

Tampa/Colorado was a fun one, but I haven’t really been that interested in one in quite a while.

I don’t know who to pick. I’ve been touting the Oilers the entire playoffs and for a year now.

Florida needs it more. I think this is their best chance. I expect Edmonton can potentially be somewhat of a cup final staple for some years to come.

If he weren’t such a lousy goalie in his two playoffs in his career it wouldn’t be such a shocker. He’s a decent regular season goalie.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him screw them again though. I was waiting for it again in this series.

We are going to witness one of the deeper teams in the playoffs (Panthers) go up against the Best Player on the Planet (Hockey-wise) in McDavid along with his Dry-saddle teammate.

Would be stunned if this goes any less than 6 games.

I know some here don't like the Oilers and I'm pretty blase about them but I would not be against them winning because of Henrique.

As far as the Panthers go, I have no one on that team that I like to root for.
