OOT Scoreboard 2023-24 playoffs

Next game the Panthers need to really get back to their game. Usually it's they can't finish well, but tonight they didn't generate enough chances at all.

It feels like they tried to win both of these games 1-0 or 2-1. The Rangers are usually gonna win that type of game.

I mean, they were able to generate a ton of chances against Boston, even if not a ton of goals.

It WAS a high-stick but Ray Ferraro(or whomever the fk was talking) said (or claimed) that because it wasn't in the offensive zone, it won't be called.

Didn't know Ray was also a Ref in addition to being an overrated NHL player in his day.....

The Panthers need to not try to win these games 1-0 or 2-1, that's exactly what it looked like they were doing BOTH games. Who knows? If Laf didn't score a goal for them, they may have found themselves in overtime in game 1. That Laf own goal killed off the Rangers and any chances of them tying it up.

And Bob has to stop that shot. That was some bullshit cheap, Andersen softy out of last series.

Bob is NOT the better goalie in this series, so the Panthers need to be better than this. Just like the team that beat the Rangers beat the Rangers last year, despite not having a better goalie......

You’re right, that’s not the rule. If you touch it with a high stick and you or a teammate touch it next, play stops. It doesn’t matter which zone you’re in.

The only rule where something like that happens is the hand pass rule. It’s legal in your defensive zone, but nowhere else.

Maybe he’s confusing the two?

I didn't even realize he had won that many in a row until they said it a few minutes before the game ended.

That goal wasn't a terrible one, but it was certainly a stoppable one.

there are only a few specific things that can be reviewed to waive off a goal.

The Devils were victims of this a couple of years ago where a play should have been waived dead, Devils were scored on, and everyone agreed the play should have been blown dead but the specific instance wasn’t part of the overturn a goal rule.
