OOT Scoreboard 2022-23

It’s too doggone early to worry about the OOT scoreboard except for Ranger games. Never too early to kvetch over that but in general I ain’t bothering with worrying about other teams till January or so

It’s easy to want Western teams to beat Eastern teams, for non-Metro teams to beat Metro teams, and no 3 point games for Eastern teams (particularly Metro) teams.

I mean, I’m not emotionally affected by the results, but I wouldn’t be in January either.

Brian Poile will get them a Cup as GM, after defeating Brad Holland’s Oilers in the WCF and Chris Lam’s Isles in SCF, and he’ll dedicate it to his dad.

He gets that long because he constantly has competent and competitive teams. Easier to stick with the devil you know vs the one you don’t


He also pretty much saved Nashville during the whole Ballsillie thing by being able to turn them back into a playoff team quickly after having to tear a big part of their post-lockout teams down.

If Nashville had gotten Atlanta’s or Columbus’ management group the team wouldn’t be there any more.
