The most hilarious division is the Scotia North. Toronto looks like credible contender statistically, they are actually popping up as having the some of the best odds after Colorado, mainly because of their weak ass division. It’s real hard to gauge how Toronto will do against a strong opponent.
The odds for the MassMutual East teams are below the other heavy hitters partly because they aren’t quite as strong but also because there is more depth there. They’re evenly matched series. The Discover Central top three is real strong and that was pretty competitive division too, the Honda West was clearly top heavy though. That’s what you get by taking the worst teams from the weakest division, The Pacific.
It’s pretty wild without the Eastern and Western Conferences, teams getting favorable, or not favorable, match-ups in the 3rd round is going to be huge. And random. Boston’s problem is that they’re 10th overall so they would get Colorado in the 3rd round if they both advance (unless Toronto isn’t King of the North and then Colorado gets Canada).
