Because it was pretty atrocious defending and goaltending. The difference is when the team is fully healthy those are still the 2 of 3 3rd pairing defensemen.

Jersey is one of the best teams in the league. They are going to torch depth players and score goals.

We would be winning this game with ordinary goaltending.

I don’t think Koch’s form is correctable in that time frame. He has a lot of work to do.

This board is so fickle. He was dominating before the injury. More of a confidence issue these last few games and needing to get back in a rhythm. And also, Freddie is the starter, Koochie is our #3. Despite what a few on this board may claim, Freddie will be back.

A lot of our forwards are playing like 4th liners right now. Only a few of them look even slightly dangerous at times. When the puck is on TT, Aho and Jarvis' sticks, I have zero hope they'll score. At least 5 on 5.

Same with the Staal line, none of them look dangerous anymore.
