Sadly... Ekholm has looked like a very average dman so far.
I have to believe he’s still rusty. No training camp. I’m not worried … for now
We finally have a solid period, work hard and score twice and then Campbell proceeds to shit the bed.

This f***ing team, man.
Three guarantees in life. Death, taxes and and the inability for the oilers to keep the pedal down…

That was not on Campbell. That was Bouchard swatting the puck away as Campbell is trying to cover it
absolutely not on Campbell BUT

The goalie needs to make a damn save. How many times did Desmith, Hart, Hellebyuck make 5 alarm saves against us? how many times did they make fluke saves, how many times did look totally lost but came away with the puck in a scrum? the answer is a lot and that's why we've lost. Our goalies aren't making those saves, outside of the scorpion kick save from Campbell.

Another game where we deserve to be up by a few but we're tied.

Anyone remember what it's like to hold a lead?

Oof. 0/4 on the PP including 2 wasted 5-on-3's?

Going from a historic PP to a middle-of-the-pack/below average PP in one season is impressive.
Goes to show you how important McDavid is. At least Edm only plays like 3 games in the next 9 days so if he is back after that that’ll only be 3 losses. Lol

Coming out after one at evens. Will take that in this building.

But this team has left opportunity on the table with massive PP's and soft defending has kept Minnesota in the game.

We outplayed them, but our great equalizers were in full force.

This team is and has always only been as good as the dumbest player on the ice. Our problem is we have about a half dozen players on this team that can single handedly throw a game away on a given night, and all of them seem to like to take turns.

I liked our energy that period. We have our legs. With that said, holy f***, we cannot make a single clean pass and we are so god damn soft in front of our net

Keep grinding away though… and fire everything possible on net

Holloway and Clouds will break through soon. They’re playing so well. Also. Get Kane off PP1 please. He was horrific that period. I did like the scrap though
Bro your so off base.

The problem is not the forwards.

This is horrific defending by Bouchard and horrific goaltending by Campbell.

You have to start singling the weak links out or this will just keep going in circles. Someone surely has to be pointing out how pathetic Bouchards defending is on these plays.

Kane was great this period, in the mix, had fight, playing tough and has an assist. What do you expect from him??
