.857 save percentage. Barely better than Reimer's .833. Both goalies were awful tonight, just as they were last night.

That is incorrect, they credited Bernier for 2 of the goals rather then just hte 1 he gave up, should be .929

Corner snipes? Lmao, are you blind? It was about 6 inches off the ice and went in between his arm and his body. That goal was weak as ****.

That sure is an angry reply towards someone who's actually agreeing with you.

Love how Franson gets credit for that desperation poke on Scheifele. Yeah ok, that was about as well as you can do on a 2 on 1 when you're a lumbering glacier like Franson, it doesn't cancel out how useless he was the rest of the game.

Funny how so many from that class are presently developing much better than Yakupov, yet EDM ended up taking him instead of Murray, Galchenyuk, Rielly, Trouba and Nichuskin to name a few. Pretty sure EDM's terrible situation is contributing to Yakupov's seemingly stalling development, but still.

He was leading them in scoring last year while playing less minutes.

He's Eakin's lap dog this year, so I don't know how he can develop with that type of coach.

Lupul needs to be called out. And if he is so bent on model crap he should be benched. I am sick of watching him half-assing his assignments on ice every shift.

The PP units have to be changed. bozo isn't doing anything with the FOs and isn't skilled enough to play on PP. Get him out of the PP unit.

Also, I would prefer to see some speed at the backend on PP especially when we give short-handed chance always on our PP

Geet the paring of Gards-Dion and Reilly-Franson

Cannot believe we only scored once in 5 opportunities and also didn't create much with a 5 on 3. Embarrassing.

Is Carlyle's toaster fixed yet?

I saw a sequence where the puck happened to be in the slot and Bernier calmly pokechecked it away before the 'Peg player could get to it. Im sure Reimer would have attempted to try and get across to block the shot. That's one of the reasons I like Bernier better.

Such composure. It didn't even get a mention on air. That was a great play. He relayed the puck real well for the D, easing the transition a few times.

Wasn't able to catch the game but looks like Reimer had another stellar night :shake head

The guy has just not been mentally there this season, I think his days are numbered here. I wouldn't be surprised if he's shipped out at the deadline for some help on the back-end or up front. He needs a fresh start somewhere else.

here's a fun experiment, let's strap Reimer to a rocket and fire him into the sun.

that's it, the results are a side thought.

I think Riemer took on too much personal responsibility for the team. He called everyone out (rightfully) but since then he hasn't elevated his game like he demanded/asked of his team mates. He is obviously doubting himself and it's hard to watch. Everyone wants him to do well but I just don't think he is capable of handling pressure.

But again, happy with the point after being down 3 goals!

the first thing I said when Reimer was giving out his whole 'we need to play better' blah blah blah - was that this means HE needs to play better. You can not throw shade especially as a goaltender and then play as badly as he did.

He's not tracking the puck well, he looks behind him all the time, and if he's doubting himself - that's him. that's mentally. you need to be able to seize your opportunities, and he cost us the extra point. the team played very well - (well for the Leafs. :laugh:) and his poor play cost us the game.

am very mad at him.

Sens=loss
Bluejackets=loss
Habs=loss
Flyers=loss

This point is actually pretty big.

HUGE point.
bring on Tampa.

Great game. Leafs fought back. I'm proud of them for getting the point.

Are we ahead of Montreal in the standings now?

yes we are. by 1.

Can't believe this guy called out the team. They played bad, but the backup shouldn't talk, he isn't helping

Down by the bay
Really close game guys
Every goalie had at least a few softies past them
Great pace to the game
Right when Kessel scored, you guys had all the momentum, thought you'd have the OT
Even so, you were able to jump Montreal in the standings
So you've got that going for you, which is nice
Seriously though, very entertaining game
I wish I could have been there, both fans making their chants heard
Only Leafs fans could out-shout the Jets faithful in their own barn
Next game should be another good one
!!!

2-1-1 is still an alright road trip but it would have been nice to steal 2 points tonight, not just 1. When was the last time the Leafs actually completed a comeback?

5 out of 8 points on the road trip not too bad. Now we have another big week ahead of us. We need to get at least 5 out of these next 6 points on this home stand. Huge games against TB and Ottawa.
