Anyone want to take a shot at the roster now with the re-signing of Doty and the fact that Andersson and Bjornfot possibly playing in the AHL.
Wild guess:Anyone want to take a shot at the roster now with the re-signing of Doty and the fact that Andersson and Bjornfot possibly playing in the AHL.
When does AHL schedule come out? Will Kraken team be playing their games in Palm Desert this season?
*eyeball emoji*Would be nice if we inked Nikita Pavlychev to an AHL contract.
Spread the size up and down the lineup with Lee and Helenius in the mid-6, Pavlychev and Doty on the 4th.
Just look at that neck.

Dayum Brett was a fantastic Captain for the Reign. He stood up for the kids, fought when he needed to and led by example was a great leader will be missed and not sure who will take over his role. But guess he's going home. Thanks and good luck Brett.Thank you for your service and best of luck Brett Sutter.
Calgary Wranglers sign Brett Sutter, Daniil Chechelev, three others to AHL contracts
The Calgary Wranglers have signed five players — including Darryl Sutt...flamesnation.ca
He's a talented goalie with size. Adventurous with the puck. Not expected to be a star, but could still be an NHLer. However, with him signing with Colorado, the writing is on the wall that the Kings are parting ways with him.The Colorado Eagles just signed goaltender Lukas Parik who I believe still belongs to the Kings in NHL rights for another year. Just wondering if there’s any insights about him as a player and this situation with the player?
For Parik, this season has been all about his adjustment to pro hockey. While his key numbers are about where they were in the WHL, he has benefited greatly in the structure added to his game in the ECHL compared to his days in junior. At times, he’s still a bit too aggressive on the ice. Coaches are working with him on finding the balance in aggressive movements and athleticism. They want to harness those elements and make them part of his secondary game, not primary. Ideally, he’d play with structure as his first skill set, saving the athleticism and aggressiveness for when needed.
While we remain extremely high on his overall ceiling, there are diverging opinions within Kings leadership circles on if Parik will reach his full potential. “Parik’s tools are undeniable,” as one source mentioned. “He has high-end potential.”
So, what’s the concern then? From all indications, he doesn’t have an attitude problem; he can simply be a bit stubborn at times. “He’s strong in his beliefs because that’s worked well for him up to this point,” said a different source. “That confidence isn’t always a bad thing either.”
I'll be honest, I'm not completely sure. It more than likely is a mutual agreement/parting of ways.Thank you for the info, exactly what I was looking for. I wonder since he was on a AHL only deal prior and this about his stubborn nature it’s he who wanted a change of scenery because it does sound like he was fairly highly thought of as ranked number 2 in that article.
Villalta sucks - i've said that from the beginning. Kings are good at developing goaltending within the organization but it ain't gonna be this guy.Im not a big vilalta fan...this type of move baffles me.
