Before the game started he was talking without realizing his mic was hot. He was saying this was a last minute assignment and that he had no idea about any of the guys from either team.

Thought berube had a good game. Too many odd man rushes against but he bailed the team out.

Top line of Kaliyev kupari madden looked good except on the 2nd Gulls goal. Totally their fault, and that goal gave the gulls life.

Liked Thomas. Wasn’t impressed by Strand. Kaliyev can’t play in OT, but impressed with his vision 5v5. Some slick passes.

50 minutes of decent Reign play, and then 10 minutes of butt clench. I liked the agressive forecheck until that stopped. Defense was OK. Reign started coasting at the end there.

He's the full time radio guy for the Ducks. No idea why he was calling this game, the Gulls have a perfectly capable play by play guy, but I guess he wasn't available.

Also, just wanted to say that Tyler Madden kid is awesome. Can't believe you got him for 10 games of Toffoli.

I think both Madden and Thomas are going to be players that can play on any line in the top 9 and do well. And there's 5 higher ranked forwards? Byfield, Turcotte, Kupari, Fagemo, Kaliyev.
That's insane depth and does not include JAD even...who I think will be better than Amadio, Moore, Luff, Wagner and as good as Lizotte.

Wrobo has used some excellent euphemisms to tiptoe around blatantly calling him out for it thus far. Early season I'm not that worried, but he better shape up if he wants to get out of the A.

His hockey IQ is off the charts. We just need to have Stoll work with him and make him a faceoff ninja

I kinda like Thomas at Center. The more I see him play the more I see his game maturing into that 3rd\4th line center. I think he can step up in the top 6 in case of injuries and also get PP \PK duties. He is probably our most versatile prospect. I think he will develop into the player we should of gotten from Amadio.
