Watching Boko's development, I thought his ceiling was Europe. This year he's really turned a corner, you can tell he's been working on his skating and his shot. Some of his goals lately look more like a sniper than a fighter, and his confidence looks likes it's through the roof.
If he continues to bring that, I can see him getting a shot. The knock on him was always his hockey IQ and liability on defense, but his positioning and defensive awareness has looked pretty damn good. The Kings can afford to lose a little offense on the 4th line for some physical accountability. One of the things this team misses is that element that Greene, Frasier, Nolan, and guys like that brought. You don't always have to kick the other guys ass in a fight, but when he completes that play up the boards he's gonna pay for that pass by taking a solid hit. I don't see our bottom 6'ers doing that all that much, or anyone for that matter. That simple play gives the opposition just enough pause to slow them down.
