Looks to me like he's holding his left hand after getting slashed on it, so I don't see how he is shaking the wrong hand. Going down like that after getting slashed on the hands is very weird though.

Crosby's strong on his feet because he spreads his legs wide, goes in a low stance and pushes against the other player using his lower body strength. Crosby stood upright and had his skates together when Selanne shoved him.
