The defense and Quick played really well. It's also nice that everyone else gets to see what we have in McDonagh.

Forwards were terriawful. Of all games to look anemic....

Not one forward, not one single forward made their presence felt.

Quick

McD

everyone else.

Losers.

Canada's D is awesome, 'grats to them.

Kane was good. He made like three slam dunk setups and the other clown forwards couldn't finish.

Good to know the only goal was part of a defensive mistake by Cally. Way to go represent for 7 mil there. Can't wait for him to be gone.

So we can get a nice outcome for our players at the games...

Hopefully Hank and Hagelin with the gold.
Nash with the silver.
Callahan and McDonagh with the bronze.

Lets go Sweden on Sunday! :)

Yeah, Team USA has no excuse for being shutout. Kane, Pavelski, Kesler, Kessel, the lot of them. And nobody scores.

Awful attitudes in here. Look at Canada's roster. They didn't even come close to what they're capable of until today. The US was outplayed by a better team, hands down. It happens. This was a close, exciting game played at a very high level.

I mean I have to give Canada some credit because they've been playing excellent defensively all tournament but the US has been TERRIBLE at puck possession all Olympics and it finally really bit them in the ass here. You can't play a chip and chase game against a team like Canada, you can't lose every board battle, you can't stand around and watch your teammates get double-teamed and lose the puck because they have no one to pass to.

Just a terrible gameplan by Bylsma and terrible excecution by the forwards

Definitely not. Not by the U.S., at least.

Yea, I agree. People acting like the us players weren't skating hard and showed a lack of effort, what a load of bs.

Chances yes, but he didn't look look like he could spell intense today.

All that scoring.....Bobby Ryan could have been used.

Only good thing coming out of this is that USA won't play Sweden and we won't hear Quick>>>>Lundqvist AINEC

Have to think Bobby Ryan might have been a bit of a better choice considering the big game is a loss due to offense. There were probably better options than certain players like Orpik. Then again maybe they just lose 3-0 or 4-1

Not one ****ing goal. Not one.

There's no justifying that from USA's roster.
