I'm not happy that the Bruins seemingly think there isn't a better option to ice but I hope he breaks thru and starts popping in some goals to help his confidence. I just think he's overly redundant on this team as another big bodied skater with slow feet.

Geekie -- Zacha -- Pasta

Marchand -- Lindholm -- Coyle

Kopeke -- Poitras -- Brazeau

Beecher -- Kastelic -- Lysell

Just do this already.
Where is Frederic? Traded?

I’ve been impressed by him for a waiver pickup. He’s the motor on that third line and they were probably the best line last night. He can definitely hit and check a lot better than I thought.

He didn't impress me at all when he first joined the team. I think he's more comfortable now & IMO his last 2 games have been his best.

I think he managed 7 shots last night. At least he is getting his shots on net. I doubt they would waive him. If they waive him I’m sure the isles would take him back.

He's at least giving a good effort out there. If he busts out if won't be for lack of trying, which is all that can be asked of him.
I thought claiming him off waivers was just a stupid "local boy" type of move. But the "slow-sucks" mantra that started before the guy was even able to participate in a single practice at Warrior has been ridiculous.

His minutes look stable at 13 minutes. He's putting pucks on net, something this team has struggled with all season. Some of his shot attempts have been a smidge from being snipes at the corners. He seems to nail an opponent once a game and while I loathe the Hits metric, he's been credited with more hits than most of the current roster.

He's slow, but it's nothing egregious. Lately, the guy seems to have one very nice play, usually early in the game, and one pretty bad play.

I don't know. He looks like an NHLer but his current shooting percentage combined with this team's ineptitude probably combine for itchy trigger fingers and trying to find the least common denominator. It feels like they haven't won since claiming Wahlstrom, but I don't really see him as the cause for the team taking the gas pipe.

Though he was one of their best players last night.
