I think it's blacked out because those pricks at TSN are showing it on TSN+

And there is no point looking at the TSN schedule. I am sure the U Denver game tthat was on last might was not showing on the schedule a week ago. And yesterday the schedule had the BC game on Thursday on TSN2. Today it's gone.

It was not blacked in my area in the US

I got the TSN sked confused. BC - providence is on Tue Nov 19 at 7:00 pm on TSN2

Time for him to take off over there

It was stupid we even tried to accelerate his development by planting him right away in the NHL
Still very surprised by that from HuGo
But keeping Heineman was definitely the right call tho
Hopefully the stint works in that it shows Kapanen what he needs to do to be an NHLer. If he can improve his skating a la Lehkonen and Evans and get stronger he could be a significant add

He earned the debut through camp, I dont mind that they rewarded him. Stuck him around a bit too long but he's picking up very well in SHL now.

Cool prospect.

Kapanen earned his spot on the opening day roster. He was one of the few players that had a good camp.

Where I agree with you is that they should have sent him back earlier, when it became obvious that he still wasn't NHL ready.

I like him as a middle six option. I think he was treading water earlier this year, as he was smart enough to survive shifts in the NHL, but he wasn't able to do much. Long term, I think he'll grow into a NHL-level forward but no idea how good. I imagine his floor is 3rd liner. Ceiling wise, it all depends on his skating. Skating is the ultimate margin for error in the NHL. For a player with his smarts, his skating will decide whether those smarts are used to make up for his skating or take advantage of it.

Habs love their DeLaRose, Nattinen, Norlinder, Kapanen, Ylonen……….
Four of these things belong together. But one of these things is not the same. Now it's time to play our game!

I think Kapanen will be an NHL player.
The others are not NHL material.

De La Rose should have been a solid 3rd line center.
Nasttinen never had a chance.
Norlinder is a wuss.
Ylonen never got it together.

Surprised you say that . In his limited times with mtl, I saw a very high iq player.
Yes he has to get used to the nhl speed and pace , but most rookies do.
I see a very high ceiling for that player as a top bottom 6 player
I think what you mistake for not used to the NHL is his limited hockey iq. The level of Liiga is lower than before, but when it comes to the style it is still closest to the NHL thanks in part to the rink size. His ceiling is Ville Leino. Hopefully more consistent and more goals.

De La Rose is a good example of a player who was rushed. Because his defensive game was so good, he was playing above his age level even prior to being drafted, then Therrien rushed him his first year.

De La Rose needed two solid seasons in the AHL top-6 and PP to develop his offensive game.
