Ceci isn't very smart moving the puck with a stick, it's not surprising that it'd get worse with his hands. Probably should've just threw it into the corner or something I dunno.

Real solution is to flex your stick before the faceoff like everybody else does.

Yep. Gotta keep pedal to the metal. Kings just don't quit. hard to match the Oilers superstar skill. One thing different this playoffs so far is Oilers are getting the PP's . That helps too. Sure can't complain about officiating tonight.

Bettman has handed down his mandate maybe. Need a Canadian team in the finals this year. Too much media hype about it.

Two plays on McD on rushes where he skates with him every move and then just slams him into the boards and takes the puck. 3 times in game PLD is first to crash boards. Fed Byfield in the slot, Fed Fiala in the slot. Kopitar had a rough game. Fiala was really bad and Byfield was giving up pucks.

Arviddson was just awful in the game. -3 and just blowing chances. PLD managed to be +1 in this game. Not a GA.

PLD was hitting more than any King and strong on boards. A dumb penalty though. Thing is PLD was winning faceoffs and surviving against our top lines. Kopitar was getting buried.

Welcome to the McMagic show. The Captain was on another level whether feeding his 50 goal score winger or his elite power play finisher. There was no response to the best player in the game delivering pure domination. Oilers also dominated the face-off dot which often isn't the case against LA solid group of centres: McDavid 53.8% ; Draisaitl a beastly 66.7%; Carrick 58.8%; only McLeod sub 50% . Danault 38.1%; Kopitar 42.9%; Dubois 46.7%. That's a massive win given this skill for LA that often starts them with the puck.

Thought that Desharnais was excellent including drawing a cheap, dirty penalty. Bouchard very poised with the puck. Kane was excellent all game with his motor, heavy game and volume shooting. Glad to see this player's game after all the rush to judgement about him. Henrique very solid. Skinner made a couple critical moment saves with some own goal friendly fire bloating his personal stat line.

Great first game with a dominating effort against a team where there's no surprises. Pedal down boys lets f***ing go!
