Kings pretty much have to start Rittich in game 2. Cant see it any other way. That said the Oilers are such a handful no matter who you put in that its easy enough to see why nobody wanted to face the Oilers in round one. Kings ended up taking the bullet again.

Tbh its the cheating Knights that evaded the Oilers in round one, purposely lost their last two games against easy clubs, just so they could go out of division. The slimy f***ers won tonight too in a game they were outplayed by Dallas.

Say what one wants about the Kings is they don't give up at any score and one of the things that makes these series at least entertaining.

If the PP goes back to scoring at will this team is going to be extremely difficult to beat.

He had to get it away from Moore's stick, as he was a fraction of a second away from going in alone. You don't really have time to pick your spot in that situation.

Yeah everybody is wondering where the hell the shovels are. lol at picking up each hat on the ice individually and having one standard size garbage can. What a lol moment. I mean these people were literally bending over for one hat at a time. Not even grabbing handfuls of them. Was kind of hilarious. Fans were having some fun with it it seemed.

This is just about as good as a game one can get. We're blessed here folks.

Pretty good first game. A little bit of reminder of what Nurse/Ceci did last year against Vegas (not as horrible, but the results were similar haha), but hopefully they got it out of their system for a few games lol.

Next game, I imagine a call is coming from the league to make it a 1 powerplay each game, unless game management requires extra late in the game. Dustin Brown probably calling an emergency session to try to get the boys to up their cheap shot game a little more for the next one. Be ready boys!

I liked the discipline tonight as well, only took 2 penalties tonight. One on a dive and the other was fine I guess. The PK stood strong and not letting them on the power play helped stifle any momentum. Well done.

Hard to say. They called a lot of power plays last year. Especially in first 2 rounds. The league mandate is hard to figure out.
