as bas as dubnyk has been tonight, and he's been awful, this loss isn't his fault... when you only get 15 or so shots in the entire game, you can't expect to win

Tied 2-2 after 2. You come out and get outshot 8-1 in the first 8 minutes.. Ya you definitely deserve to be losing.

This game is worth fighting for so we need to start hitting them in our zone or we are finished. We need solid hits to take guys out of their cycles and the playaction, bigger hits and immediatly in our zone.

They are using the short give and gos on us in our zone for christs sakes. We need to HIT guys not to hurt them but to remove them from the cycle and the give and gos , we need to cleanly knock them down or take them out by pinning them to the boards, we just need to remove one of them from the play , thats easy, just hit them with the intent of removing them from the give and go and the cycle, knock them down, hit them high and hard.

I don't understand how a team can look so good last night and look so bad tonight.

It isn't that they are tired. The Blues played last night too and have been outworking and outplaying the Oilers all game. We need a break here big time.

Yep - granted the ice is *****, but the rest of the team isn't helping too much right now. Here's hoping that Yak gets a spark playing on the first line.

The Blues were at home last night and by all accounts played like garbage.

The Blues came into this season as one of the favorites to win the Stanley Cup, the Oilers just trying to climb out of the basement. Don't have a cow, its just a game that we weren't really expected to win, and they are right in it.

We've come out like that in every period.

Hard to believe our coach is a motivational speaker.

Ya but tied at the end of the 2nd period is different than tied early in the game. I mean you just have to play one good period, and you put yourself in good position. But no, they come out and lay a stinker.
