Except they could still fit Miller this year ($5.25M).
The $8Mx7 contract doesn't even start until next year.

The Canes got Pulju for basicly nothing. Puistola is not an NHL caliber player as he is too feeble. Pulju on the other hand gets to be in the same team as his good friend Aho and they have chemistry together in the rink. Canes wins hands down this trade.
