I know, I'm referring to the carryover retention into the new contract.
I get it, but for a moment I was hoping this was Waddell's excuse for redirecting Vancouver to Boeser... "Sorry guys, but we just can't fit Miller."

His helmet doesn’t fit his head. It’s very odd and it bothers me a little.
He's gonna cry himself to sleep tonight on his HUGE pillow.

At the very least, most of the folks I follow like the move for us, JP, and think it's on brand that we got the guy that fits our style and doesn't score enough.

Oh, I forgot to mention my least favorite part of the trade. I will see much more of one of the worst nicknames ever.

The Canes got Pulju for basicly nothing. Puistola is not an NHL caliber player as he is too feeble. Pulju on the other hand gets to be in the same team as his good friend Aho and they have chemistry together in the rink. Canes wins hands down this trade.

Ugh really?

Poolparty is damaged goods as far as I'm concerned. Maybe the front office is getting Nino for Rask vibes but I'm not feeling it.

I'll give it a chance but this is a reclamation project to end all reclamation projects.
Basically got him for free. Why not try? If there's a chance he bounces back, this is the team that'll do it for him.

For him personally this must be the best case scenario.

Yes, but according to all the NYers here it isn't "real".

I get it. I'm just not excited about this. I'd rather the homegrown talent be given the shot next year.
