Plenty of offense on that Devils blueline as is.

Adam Larsson and Oscar Klefbom have good first passes too. If Russell is better than both of them he'd be signed already.

If He's short term and relatively cheap, then 100% go for it EDM. For so long we have lacked depth D. He's not exxactly what we need though (second pairing right shooting offensive Dman)

This would push Nurse out of the NHL for this coming season, and bury Reinhart in the AHL for the foreseeable future as they won't have them sitting as 7th men.

Fayne is more reliable defensively than Nurse at this point in his career.

With less of a workload, it isn't out the realm of possibility to see a bounce back from him.
