lmao

Clearly you haven't met DSF.

What am I lying about. You claimed I'd slandered Arvid. Oh my lord.

Every player we got rid of in offseason is putting Arvid to shame and doing it even on bottomsix usage.

As per usual the expectations of incoming players is minimal here.

Why you don't you and others put up? I've asked several times and no takers. (of course)

Arvid needs to hit 20G even to be considered remotely worth the 4M we're tossing him. I'm sure you'll take that bet eh? Or shut up.
You know exactly what you lied about. You tried to claim Arvidsson played significant minutes with Kopitar and Kempe for his production the past 3 seasons and as usual you were wrong and he played something like less than 10% of his minutes 5v5 with either player and then you just tip toed around your made up lie about the player. You'll go down any avenue you can to dump on this player and when proven wrong will not own up to your mistake. It's honestly pathetic and it makes discussing anything hockey related with you a complete waste of time.

If Arvidsson plays >75 games I'll gladly take that bet on him scoring 20. Loser never posts on this site again, deal?

Need I say more?

Player he doesn’t like scores - explain it away.
Yup. In the OOT thread there was much jubilation over the Foegele score and not a peep about Fialia who’s been disparaged and maligned for over a year. When you bring that up, you’ll be told to stop ‘flapping your gums’, a comment that would set that poster off on a ten post tirade if someone said it to him. Sigh.

I don’t know why we can’t just be less dogmatic about players actual abilities. So and so is ‘garbage’, so and so is ‘nothing’, so and so is a ‘bust’. It’s stupid commentary. After many years of watching hockey it might dawn on fans that players in the NHL are there for a reason. I learned that lesson when I spent a long time running down Devan Dubnyk on this board. I’ve never been so sure that a guy was going to wash out of the league. Two and a half years later he was an allstar and Vezina nominee. The NHL is a strange game. And there are many factors to succeeding when the difference between most players is so slim. Sometimes all it takes is a shot of confidence to realize potential … and on the flip side, well we all saw what happened to Jack Campbell.
