Just altered my view on Pods the other day. I credited Corey Perry for a great game just yesterday. Gonna take more than scoring one goal to get me to change my view on Arvid here considering how much we're paying him.

I am not “betting” on the performance of a player because you’re melting down over him. I don’t bet for or against the performance of Oiler players, on this forum or in real life. I want them all to do well, even if I have my doubts and/or am over some of them.

Assertive? you're being foolish. You are on a message throwing around your opinion like it has any weight and challenging anyone who disagrees to a bet, like a school yard bully yelling "my dad can beat up your dad". As if it matters, we are oiler fans here. Why the hell would you actively bet against our players finding success? There's no other explanation except ego here and an overarching need to be right.

We. get. it, you don't need to bring it every game. What benefit does this get you? a big old "I told you so" when/if he gets injured? or we don't win the cup? are you that fragile that you need to be out in front of something?

At the end of the year we won't care that you were right or wrong about a player, well actually maybe we will since you've been so vocal about it, its kind of hard not to remember it. Its not a bad to make. theres what a 12.5% probability the oilers win the cup this year, so he stands to have an 87.5% chance of being right by betting against the Oilers and Arvidsson.
