Whey can't they? If people couldn't amass over $50M, you would have WAY less innovation going on. When Elon made his money from Paypal, why would he risk anything to build Tesla, SpaceX, the Boring Company? He wouldn't. And while I'm not a fan of Elon's latest move to trying to be a wrestling villain, I can certainly appreciate the crazy amount that he's contributed to civilization as a whole. How do you think billionaires become billionaires?
Do you think they approach moneymaking holistically with everyone's best interest in mind from the lowest point in the supply chain, or do they maximize revenues by minimizing the profits of others?
Why does anyone, ever, need to amass more than say, even 50 million dollars in value? Do they not live comfortably enough at that point?
Yea I’m going to support the party who plays by the rules in these types of arrangements and doesn’t operate off of feelings .According to the billionaire who is saying they breached it because "they didn't try hard enough".
The agreement, on its surface, was that he'd give them another $5 million if they didn't meet a fundraising amount to help with relocation from the building he was buying from them. They didn't meet that goal. He's now saying you should have worked harder to so I'm not paying it.
But you go to bat for the guy who's trying to get out of something based on a technicality and semantics while he gets richer due to this place giving him a good deal on real estate.
Okay I’ll make it simple, they entered into an agreement, and failed to uphold their end of the agreement.

I would absolutely never expect "compassion" from a billionaire under any circumstances really. That's how they become billionairesRight or wrong regarding the contractual agreement, courts will decide but regardless youd think that a 4.4 billion dollar person would have more compassion for a homeless shelther, when its only costing him 5 million.
Perry already has his name on the Cup.Lol. This is the same guy that took on E. Kane and Perry. Are people actually cheering to have these names etched on the Cup?
And well deservedly, Perry was a huge part of that.Perry already has his name on the Cup.
And well deservedly, Perry was a huge part of that.
Perry made a mistake and owned up to it.
Kane on the other hand……
Non-profit bum shelters are notoriously corrupt. Calling a person a "client" while soaking up free money to feed them is a hallmark of grifters. I dislike Cocaine Katzy as much as any normal person, but sounds like he's in the right on this one. You're stating something as fact that simply hasn't been proven. Which demonstrates you believe Katz's claims without evidence but assume the nonprofit is lying.
You have no idea which party that is.

I don't want him to be right, I dislike him. The claims he's making line up with my understanding of Big Poverty."bum shelters?" Yeah it doesn't sound like you have any preconceived notions there.
It sounds like he's right because you want him to be. It doesn't change the fact that none of the claims from either side have been proven.

Would you want to eliminate drugged out those most vulnerable experiencing being un-homed, if that was your $150k salaried position? That $5 million is someone's nest egg that he's messing with. Do you truly believe these organizations aren't big money makers for the top people? We have one here in Calgary that was sitting on $100 million a few years ago.
