He was never given the chance. His job was to carry the water for Matthews and Marner. Go in the corner and dig the puck out and give it to one of the other 2.

Marner simply could not keep up with McDavid so I doubt he gets many.
As far as Hyman goes look at his goal totals this year it’s incredible and he is playing for the cup right now and you can’t deny that our guys folded in round 1

This is Hymans 16th goal of the playoffs this year, that could almost be more then Marner has in his entire playoff career, but let’s give him 12.5 for 8 years

I’m not a fan of Tre at all and he really didn’t make it any worse just different. Dubas had 1 round win in 5 years

Hyman is willing to get the crap knocked out of him to score his goals from areas Marner only occasionally passes through.

No one can give him the chance to succeed he has now... McDavid draws players to him like no one else.

Hyman can only play that way. He is an AHL player if he relied on skill. Marner is a skill player.

Hyman is 5th on his team in points, and both his linemates have more... why are people acting like he is the driving force?
