Sheer boredom. The kind of players coaches love.just curious- is there anything that Brown, Janmark, Kapanan bring to the team that Philp, Savoie, James Hamblin can’t bring? What does Emberson bring that Dineen didn’t?
True. Especially a personality like KnobSheer boredom. The kind of players coaches love.
Nurse won’t have to worry about breaking his hand if some goof takes out McDrai. And when Perry got drilled, who jumped in?We actually outhit the Ducks, and as strange as it sounds, we have just an awful record this year in games that we outhit the other team. I thought there was enough of a pushback, Perry and Nurse both got shots in on Gudas. Last thing I wanted to see this time of the year was Nurse break his hand in a meaningless fight against a useless plug.
how many high danger scoring chances?
Unless you have the money to buy the team talking about changing the owner is just a complete waste of time.Who said anything about not changing anything?
Management f***ed the roster something fierce. Start with Katz and his cronies and go from there.
Not a bad idea but not much point now. In another 5 games its unlimited roster size so its easy to plug someone else in. Both of those guys had a very rough evening.and WAIVE KAPANEN ALONG WITH MAX JONES
We're not falling out but this team isn't inspiring confidence going into the playoffs.I want to point out one thing. If the Oilers didn't have Drai with a monster game against the Flames the teams would be separated by only 2pts right now. That basically tells you what an absolute ASS season this has been.
5 games left and not even a playoff spot mathematically secured.
Agreed. I don't know why Brown was on the PP more than ArviHard to argue with 47 shots on goal but you have to bury them?
Credit to Arvi who came to play.
Oh I know. But what a shitstorm. The club HAD to bring Drai back from injury to get a couple W's down the road to avoid an even worse situation, and potentially cataclysmic one. REally the team was so shit without Drai we might have spiralled right out. We're not falling out but this team isn't inspiring confidence going into the playoffs.
1-3 against the Ducks this year. Gross.
Yup, he really goes balls in every game. Definitely in over Emberson.I liked Stecher. I think he's been playing well lately
I think he's made a pretty good case for himself to play over Emberson in the playoffs
Yep. I said it before, if we lost that Calgary game we would have been in severe risk of missing the playoffs and that does appear like it was the case. Even then. The fact that Calgary is only 6 points back of us with 5 games left in the season? Just unacceptable.I want to point out one thing. If the Oilers didn't have Drai with a monster game against the Flames the teams would be separated by only 2pts right now. That basically tells you what an absolute ASS season this has been.

Brown on the PP all night sure is a thing. Lets put a guy that can't finish to save his life or produce anything and give him half a dozen minutes on the PP. Its like salt in my eyes.Agreed. I don't know why Brown was on the PP more than Arvi
What on earth are you watching. This hatred for Walman is hilariously stupid. Some people really need to lay off alcohol during gamedays lmfaoStetcher has been better than Walman too.
The cavalry are watching this sorry lot of a club. Thats a problem too. Would be IMPOSSIBLE to escape the reality that 75% of this club just ain't much and this is an awful forward lineup.Biggest disappointment for me tonight was the lack of an immediate response on Gudas. That and our shooting percentage. Very disappointing. And our coaching. That was disappointing. Well, Bouchard was disappointing as well but that’s become expected. RNH was disappointing. Cant spell disappointment without Brown.
Sigh.
Lots to be disappointed in.
But the cavalry is coming!
I don't know, seems about right to me.None of these coaches have been that great. Jackson f***ed up the team but this team is better on paper than the results (aside from goaltending)
