You could see from early on in this game that the team wanted to make a statement game and to show to everyone (and more importantly to themselves) that they can bust out offensively and dominate teams.

This type of game can be a real confidence builder and can be a turning point when a team is struggling... hopefully that happens with the Oilers here going forward as well.
