At this point i’m convinced they genuinely saw decent surplus value in Stillman because they put him in the lineup with minimal time. Couple that with Burroughs elite presewason and they’ve had more shifts than the Myers pair at ES so far

On paper, I don't think it's a terrible idea to "gamble" (using that term loosely because there's pretty much no risk) on a young player whose only season was in an organization that was a mess.
