Good lord man. This 2nd period has been heinous.

I just do not understand why Jared Bednar insists on not changing anything. The Avs are sitting back doing NOTHING to pressure the Oilers in our own zone. They're letting them skate around at will, run pick plays at will, and our players refuse to stay on their players. It's like they're trained to go back into whatever "zone" system Bednar wants them to run. Forwards stay off the boards and off the point men, so Oilers d-men have freedom to roam and Oilers forwards have freedom to put pucks back to the point whenever and continue the cycle.

It's such an insanely maddening style of defending. Who the hell thinks this is the way to win hockey games? Just skate around and give absolutely ZERO pressure???
