i can't believe how little of chances and how mostly invisible (for his skill set) Yakupov has been on the Gagner/Hemsky line over the season. its boggling how non-involved theyre getting him as vets and not adjusting . . . partially his problem too but come on. get this going.

Jason Garrison gets his first goal (and point) for the nucks this season.

Most of that is on Yak. He's not going to the spots he needs to be to get his shot off. He's kind of just zooming around waiting for a pass. He needs more order to his madness.

He needs new linemates, no question. Needs some RNH saucer passes.

I just started watching. How is the game going so far? 1-0 is good for now. Glad to see Petrell net one. Even better that Gagner got another point. Should it be a higher scoring game or are they very back and forth? Is Phoenix's defense clogging it up?

1-0 is about right. Yotes clogging everything. Oilers can't get set up.

OAN, the more I watch Hemsky, I see why they've never found someone to play with him... He's the problem. Yak must be pulling his hair out.

i agree. i amended my comment. its partially on everyone. the vets need to be talking to him and getting things organized. instead it looks like a Hemsky/Gagner line with a floater.

It's mostly on him. He's a rookie playing like a rookie who is lost more times than not, hard to put the blame on Gagner and Hemsky.
No need to panic, he'll come around with more experience.

Exactly. He's rarely set up in a scoring position. He needs to watch some Stamkos video, and start getting open for that one-timer.

I've noticed Yakupov curls really far back on the breakout. I'd like to see him bursting up the boards as a better option for a pass.
