Not the player he used to be and is infamous for not making full use of that massive size but is playing above his 800k salary this season. Should be decent depth and an upgrade on the likes of Shore at least.

Yech. Doesn’t hit. Plays a small man’s game. Healthy scratch for the playoffs last year.

50% retained according to Rishaug as well.

Just looking at his stats I think this will be the best team he's ever played on the and the best shot he will probably ever have at a deep run in the playoffs. Hopefully that spurs him into being as effective as possible. If not, not the end of the world

I'm not a huge fan, but I wonder if him being able to play some RW sold them on him.

The RW market is basically nonexistent and they definitely need help there.

Fine player. Not that high of an acquisition cost or cap hit.

Still hoping there's one more move out there for a middle 6 type winger.

Happy they brought him in, cheap forward, RHC with size and can skate. He's cheap too. Welcome Nick, I hope you find some that magic that made you the most untouchable prospect in Panther's history.

Good depth and with 50% retained there is stil room for more.

450k for Bjugstad.
