Things can change quickly with 1 win..Should have picked Kitchener in 4 instead…

Can't say I saw that one coming. The Petes weren't all that impressive in the regular season but who knows maybe they were saving their best for the playoffsThe Peterborough Petes are the first team to advance to the second round with 4-0 sweep of the Sudbury Wolves. The Petes are playing great hockey at the moment. I would not rule them out of winning another series in the second round.
They are a far better team than their regular season record indicates. The team was slow to gel after the trade deadline and they came together as a team in February until illness and injuries took key players out of the lineup. One of the main reasons for their success against Sudbury in the first round was their discipline, team play and having several players with a lot of play off experience and many others who have played in a least one playoff series. I think they have a chance to win a series against Ottawa or who ever they play in the second round. Can't say I saw that one coming. On paper they have a solid roster. It just seemed like a matter of time before everything would gel, which is often the case after the trade deadline. Even if it took longer for the Petes, this is a great time for things to come together. Can't say I saw that one coming. There is a dark horse in the play offs now. There is no chance anyone had Kitchener in 4....?
Sorry your not hiding from anyone anymore. Hunter will not take your team lightly. There is a dark horse in the play offs now.![]()
With the exception of maybe last year the Knights seem to have the Rangers number. Knights were the stingiest team in the west 2nd only to Ottawa in the league. The will be a hand full and you can never count Hunter out of any game. Guy knows how to play poker. Ranger fans went into these play offs with low expectations. Never thought for a moment they would do what they did against the Spits. It's still hard to wrap your head around. I know the Ranger players never gave up on each other but the fans did a few times this season. Junior hockey is full of surprises. Spits have to two of the best rookies in the league so the future looks bright there.Sorry your not hiding from anyone anymore. Hunter will not take your team lightly.
