Yeah. Big play there. Pathetic that this game could have been tied there.Ekholm saved a goal
Just shooting for the sake of shooting is a dumb approach. He should be getting #1 PP time instead of RNH. Coach is stubborn
Good save Pickard. Game is too close for how it has been played
Keep passing up shots guys
Just keep doing it
We are up by 5 anyways right.....
I'd rather have an ex NHL goalie as goalie coach (even a scrubby one) than what the Oilers have now.Let’s hire Scrivens as associate goalie coach. He can teach Skinner and Pick’s his “glove moves faster downward” technique and get them a 59 save win..
You mean playing inside your net isnt a good approach?People will say Pickard is just luckier than Skinner but generally when you play at the top of your crease like he does it allows you more room for error.
Pickard has good movement / recovery compared to Skinner. I don’t mind that he plays outPeople will say Pickard is just luckier than Skinner but generally when you play at the top of your crease like he does it allows you more room for error.
And I thought that Skinner has been handling the puck. Pickard makes Stu looks like Mike Smith or Marty Turco handling the puck compared to Pickard.Pickard drunk playing the puck
@elonCan we give Skinner’s hands to Podkolzin
He does more with virtually no offensive touch than just about any player I've ever seen.Podkolzin is one of those guys where you watch him have a shift like that and you're left saying "why isn't this working"
Seems like Nuge will never lose that spot.Honestly he SHOULD be getting some PP time... maybe that would help him slump bust a bit and get his confidence up.
This will be his best game of the season and will be playing in Europe next year (or the AHL).I forgot Wedgewood was still in the NHL
But he would shoot from that slot position. RNH tries his one lame top corner outside shot that misses the net lol. WHy not change something?Just shooting for the sake of shooting is a dumb approach.
His passing isnt too bad, his forecheck ability is great, his hands especially in tight are about as bad as it gets.He does more with virtually no offensive touch than just about any player I've ever seen.
Relax and enjoy the little happy accidents. And I thought that Skinner has been handling the puck. Pickard makes Stu looks like Mike Smith or Marty Turco handling the puck compared to Pickard.
He's a skilled passer but hasn't scored a goal since the Lincoln Administration. Not sure they could have a Podnogoalzkin on the Drai line. I like him a lot but you need to score at some point on a scoring line. His passing isnt too bad, his forecheck ability is great, his hands especially in tight are about as bad as it gets.
