Most of our best 11 is there, but I have some quibbles on the edges…Koch, Nmecha, Gnabry wouldn’t crack my squad.

Havertz
Wirtz - Undav - Musiala
Andrich - Stiller/Groß
Mittelstädt - Schlotterbeck/Tah - Rüdiger - Kimmich
Baumann/Ortega

Ugh, Undav has withdrawn and Sane was nominated to replace him instead of Burkardt :-/

There isn't another keeper in Italy better than Vicario? He's an annoying watch.

Are there any problems with Vicario? Wasn't everyone super happy with him until last year?

He could call Carnesecchi, but I would tend to trust Spalletti.
Very good stopper and solid sweeper, but teams quickly last year caught on to the fact that he's very weak in controlling his box and it became a pretty easy thing to exploit.

But he's there to be a backup, and he seems to have a solid personality (which is honestly more important in a backup NT keeper than actual quality), so not an issue.

Odegaard travelled to Norway, got checked out by the Norway team doctor, and has been ruled out and sent back to London to recover 🙏

Wirtz is sick and Stiller is missing training with a knock :-/ Sounds like we'll see something like:

Havertz
Sane/Führich - Musiala - Brandt/Gnabry
Groß - Andrich
Mittelstädt - Tah/Schlotterbeck - Rüdiger - Kimmich
Baumann/Ortega/Nübel
...maybe Kleindienst up front with Musiala, Havertz, and one of Sane / Führich / Brandt / Gnabry in the creative band?

And Stiller has had to withdraw completely. No replacement has been named, but U20ers Pascal Klemens & Nelson Weiper trained with the senior team

England
Greece played at a San Marino level from the bits I could see
Yeah defending for the first goal wasn't great, nice assist by Madueke. England dominated the first 30 then Greece woke up after Tsimikas' chance. Nice save by Pickford on Ioannidis in the second half.

Bellingham's header hit the post from Madueke's cross then Bellingham hit the post again with the ball rebounding off the GK over the line for 2-0. Great finish by Jones for the third.
