They have to get more attention to detail. It was a high tip so I will give them a break, but McDavid could have stuck by him and just tied his stick up

They have to do things you literally learn in minor hockey. Take your man in zone, support the breakout, shoot the puck, win puck battles. These are day one basics because that’s how you win and when you play that way things come together including your goalie making more saves.

When you play globetrotter hockey, blowing the zone, cheating for offence, over passing in the offensive zone, you just make it way harder to win hockey games.

Oilers shoot more from that pink area than the blue (the official NHL chart is split into 3 zones for pink and blue).

I looked up the top 5 GF/G teams and they all have more shots in all 3 blue zones than the 3 pink zones

Edmonton is the opposite lol
