I hate that proposed deal. We're seriously going to have no picks this year. I would think there is going to be a part 2 where we get some picks for one of our players.

I can't imagine that fans are really upset about this. I absolutely love Clowe's game. He makes us harder to play against physically, he will get a lot of ice-time due to his skill, which will give him plenty of ice-time to wear down defenses.

I know Slats has basically dumped an entire year or draft picks, but Clowe is worth the exchange here.

bigger, better version of dubinsky. Brings energy ( which is sorely lacking on this team )......his point toals for the past 7 years cant be overlooked. Can score and PASS.........

I think you're reading this correctly. At this point, Gaborik is the rental for the rest of the season, and he's gone for a first rounder + a couple late rounders.

I do somewhat agree.

However 2 2nds is steep, but it is a conditional.

Either way, I'm glad the organziation recognizes how much grit and skill we are lacking in the bottom 6. This makes a third line much more formidable to go up against.

Clowe is a ranger now, I will welcome him with open arms. I was expecting a lot worse, but still an overpayment IMO.

honestly i like clowe. price is steep if we resign(doubtful), but a 2nd and 3rd isn't too bad (if it's not from a great draft year)

Sharks fans can't be pissed. Clowe is 30 years old and a UFA to be. He has been banged up. He has 0 goals. ZERO. They're lucky to have gotten a 2nd, 3rd, and possibly another 2nd. Did they forget he is not Jaromir Jagr?

People need to stop freaking out over the picks. The Rangers could end up dealing Pyatt for picks. They can get picks back for Gaborik at the draft.
