I don't think Severson would be around if we somehow landed Jones, that would make no sense. It's one or the other but not both.

I highly doubt we trade for Jones.

Don's words make sense and I get it but it leans even more into why some former Jackets may work. Nyquist for example is just straight up a solid guy who knows many players on this current team, his addition wouldn't be disruptive in any way. I do appreciate Waddell giving these guys an opportunity to see it through but it doesn't mean he has to avoid moves altogether

Its just guessing and TV some click bait but Jones keeps being connected to us. Kind of ironic that apparently management and the coaching staff aren't happy with him after all the stuff that went down here.
