At the same time people want to give up on McBain for unluckily turning around and slapping the puck in his own net. The dude might not have lived up since his rookie season thus far, similarly to Skinner, but that's no reason to give up on his career. Defensemen take longer to develop and McBain is still fairly young.

Plus, another smurf for a defenseman is not what we need.

People want to give up on McBain because he sucked all season, not because of one play.

I don't, but I at least know why people do.

So...there's a Stanley Cup Final game in double-OT right now. Could we please discuss that instead?

I mean...this is the Official Stanley Cup Final thread, not the ***** about Jamie McBain thread.:help:

Let's just say this game would NOT be in double OT if Jamie McBain were on either team. He would have scored an own goal on a backhand from the slot by now.

Players have to lose so much weight in these long OT games.

Unless you're Buff, who would somehow gain 5 pounds.

After all those chances....THAT goes in

Ah, it bounced off two guys in front. It would take a shot like that yo end it with how well Crawford and Rask were playing.
