OT: Official OT Thread XIV - Tonight we're gonna party like it's MCMXCIX

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I recently beat Wolfenstein: The New Order while waiting for Sept. 9th to get here and it was surprisingly fun. No MP though.

I won't post the link as it's heartbreaking, but the gist of it is - "Yet approximately 2,000 animals pass through PETA's front door every year and very few make it out alive. The vast majority -- 96 percent in 2011 -- are killed. Bodies are stored in the giant walk-in freezer PETA installed for this very purpose. It is a freezer that cost $9,370 and was paid for with the donations of animal lovers who could never have imagined that the money they donated to help animals would be used to end their lives instead. In fact, in the last 11 years, PETA has killed 29,426 dogs, cats, rabbits, and other domestic animals."

I know you and GBK are pet owners. I'm also a pet owner and to be honest, I treat my dog better than I treat most people I know. **** PETA and their garbage celebrity spokespeople.

That's ****ing infuriating. I come from a family that rescues and rehabilitates animals. My two cats mean the world to me and I take better care of them than I do myself. Disgusting.

I have heard about this too. PETA is a bunch of hypocrites. Instead of funneling their energy in to trying to get kill shelters to change their tunes, they worry about kids drinking milk.

Without any pressure form PETA, petsmart and petco don't sell dogs and cats any more. They now host rescue organizations that get animals from kill shelters, get them healthy and socialized and then adopt them. I got one of my cats this way and it was less than my local pound (which gave me a health problem plagued animal[thanks *******s])
 
My biggest problem with PETA and their flock of supporters that are looking for an easy charity to latch onto, is the elitist ****** attitude they have. Like they're the only people who have ever done anything positive. I wonder what all these washed up singers, d-list celebrities, and has-been models will think when they hear that PETA euthanizes nearly 90% of all animals that enter their shelters? They probably won't know though because they're too stupid to do some research and actually be knowledgable. Just like when they open their mouths about the Middle East, politics, and money. PETA is a giant front. Been saying it for years. But hey, keep lecturing me on how I'm a terrorist because I eat a burger.

Haven't played them, I've only watched videos. Pack #2 looks really fantastic.
