Thank you Dan.

Also thanks to everyone else offering kind words. I feel even better today...much more of a clear head than I have had in a while.

Is George Bailey an author? I'm about to wikipedia him.

George Bailey is the richest man in town. :)

Train was 15-20 minutes late, which I can deal with. Got to South Station, hoping that the gale force wind and monsoon had let up a bit, no such luck. I walk around the corner and step outside still under cover, preparing myself for the sprint over to Downtown Crossing. I don't even reach the effing sidewalk before I step into an oceanic puddle. Up near my calf and all the way down, completely saturated in water. I feel like a human sponge.

To add insult to injury I popped my shoulder out taking my jacket off at my desk. EFFFFFFF.

Commute from hell. Hope your shoulder is ok! Do you have a store by you that you can get new ones? Hope the day gets better!!

I can't use an umbrella working in Copley so I wear my Bruins Championship hat (women's) everytime it rains. I said screw it and wore jeans today. Top it off I'm sick. I just need to get through to next Tuesday so I can go to the drs to see if I have a sinus infection. Insurance and FSA re-set woo!

On the plus side, it only took me about 25 minutes to get to work door to door today. AND I got a seat on the train, which never happens.

On the negative side, I'm ****ing soaked and freezing.

Going back to the plus side, the office is dead. I hope to spend the next 2 days catching up on stuff and maybe sneaking out early...then another long 4 day weekend. I like this 6 days off, 2 days on, 4 days off, 3 days on thing.

I'm tired of all the running around on Christmas. I have an 8 and 11 year old and would just like to stay home, relax and let them enjoy the new stuff they got. Instead, we go to 3 different places.

Next year I'm thinking about having an open house. Come over, eat, drink and relax. No schedule to follow.

This is what my parents did so they and we could actually enjoy our Christmas. On Christmas Eve everybody came over and I mean everybody!!! The next day it was just the four of us.

You should definitely do it.

I was definitely on emotional overload Monday night and yesterday.

Lonnie, I feel your pain. We get Christmas with my mom's side on Saturday which should be fun /sarcasm. No punching for me tho.

Hope your dad is ok!

Thanks Aly he is doing OK we just have to keep an eye on him :)
