Bruins jerseys, Tiffany's, and cast iron skillets. A merry Christmas indeed.

Great Christmas morning here. Kids seem happy. Bride seems happy. She cooked huge breakfast.

Amongst many things I got tix for UMass - BU at Amherst Feb 1 with hotel room to boot. Me and my sons will have a helluva weekend.

I'd love to meet up for that game, provided its not an exclusive father son outing which I'd more than understand ;)

Edit: just realized that's a Friday, work till 9 anyhoo - but that oughta be an awesome game!

Haven't opened too many presents, didn't ask for anything this year - but my old man did get me a Stanley cup champions hat (finally have one!) a don't poke the bear shirt, and the dark knight rises on Blu ray

Have a great holiday everyone. I feel like I know every one of you outside of the forum now just from posting in here. Great bunch of people.

Lou, that post was perfect. So true. Stay safe, happy, and full everyone.

Also, I am engaged now. I have never, ever been more nervous to do anything in my life. Not because I didn't think she would say yes though...can't describe it.

Congratulations! May you have a long & happy life together :handclap:

Merry Christmas everyone.......

Having 3 kiddos (and 1 surprise on the way) is exhausting but also what fuels me every day. Cant wait for my wife to be done wrapping so we can sleep. Until then I will valiantly sip my beer and watch TV.

Congratulations on the surprise!!!! When is she/he due?

All you have to do is love a girl - you'll be amazed at what will happen.

Word. Three girls myself. When we first got pregnant, I was hoping for a boy. When my daughter was born I realized how stupid I was to wish for one or the other. Such a joy.

Congrats to the dad's to be...expected or otherwise.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

Thank you. First child (puppy) is coming in the spring. Can't wait. I'm also extremely thirsty right now but I don't want to get off of my couch. Food coma for me as well...so...full...

Great stuff in here. Babies coming, people getting engaged, and puppies.

Some great friends too sharing all the ups and downs.

Really.... We all got it pretty freaking good if you ask me.

Christmas was really great this year. No fighting amongst relatvies, etc., and I brought my GF around and everyone in my extended family loves her and she likes them all. That's super important. Things are looking up finally. Now just to find that elusive job...

It really is a fantastic bunch on these parts.

I bought my mom a Roku cuz she recently ditched cable and the basic channels just aren't enough (half are espanol), so she can use my Netflix subscription on it. That was a late night genius idea and Amazon had some discounted. I originally checked them out for myself, but it made more sense to give to her and she actually liked it!

Only presents under my tree for me were two gifts from my friend in TN, two tins of cookies, and a Bruins scratch card. Honestly, this morning I did miss the excitement of the presents and stuff, but in the grand scheme of things, there was no clean up, no big messes, no returns, and just a laid back day. Went over to a friend's house for the 3rd straight year and had so many laughs and played games with the kids.

Told my mom simply put, we'll do presents another day if she wants. If not, that's okay too. (Helps to have a birthday less than a month away. ;))

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Thanks again for the thoughts, prayers and well wishes.

Just watched the 2009 GI Joe movie with Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans and JGL. It was ok, but I had a really difficult time following it and figuring out who was who, and then once I figured out who was on screen I couldn't tell if they were good or bad guys. Kinda confusing, and I was a HUGE GI Joe fan as a kid.

Great to hear Mom is doing well.
Don't worry 'bout presents Jaci. It's not important what's under the tree..........just who's around it.

;)
