Merry Christmas Eve to all.... Just a little PSA, enjoy it and spread the love...We are not promised another Christmas, and I have lost someone every year for the past ten, so Christmas Eve and Christmas get a little less crowded.. Don't get so hung up on the gifts you give, or the stress of preparing dinner or hosting, and soak up what your loved ones have to offer..talk to all of them, and give millions of hugs and it will be just a great time...Love u guys...

Well said Lou.

I got nothing to add.

Every year I say I'm not going to do it. Then I do it again anyway.

I spoil my kids.

Me too.and as long as I have the means to do so.......I will.

Agreed. If people don't like it tough ****. My kids both turned out to be pretty good citizens, do very well in school and would give you the coat off their back. Life sucks. Might as well make their childhood as wonderful as possible, starting with wonderful Christmas memories. Little do they know at the time, it's often the best moments of their entire life.

We have them donate some of their old toys every year. In an attempt to get them to understand not everyone is as fortunate as they are. What can you do? They're little kids.

My wife accidentally left out the letter my son wrote to Santa. He says, "DADDY!! You didn't send my letter, now Santa wont come!"

I replied, "No, Zack. Daddy faxed Santa at the North Pole. It's ok, son".

Then, had to put him at ease by showing him how a fax works. I swear this is how conspiracy people are created.

Merry Christmas (I'll get to the New Years later)....have fun everyone

I spent a gazillion trillion dollars again....wtf:cry:

couple shopping observations

not perfect but most friendly season I ever remember in lines but especially driving (although maybe I was nicer- I cant get that video of those kids from CT out of my head and just think of those parents Christmas morning and I want to puke)

always park away from the front- so much less hassle

gift cards are the greatest- and when you combine them with a nice gift bad and bunch of stuff inside like an ornament or whatever its a win-win

Have a great holiday everyone. I feel like I know every one of you outside of the forum now just from posting in here. Great bunch of people.

Lou, that post was perfect. So true. Stay safe, happy, and full everyone.

Also, I am engaged now. I have never, ever been more nervous to do anything in my life. Not because I didn't think she would say yes though...can't describe it.
