I depends on what you mean by nothing. Joe Blandisi is a very nice player and played with Monahan. They got him in the Ceci trade. I agree it's not like taking someone from the Knights or Winterhawks though. Sometimes increased opportunity on bad teams increases production. Sometimes playing with elite players increases production. If Monahan was playing for the Mooseheads or Winterhawks as a 2nd or 3rd liner I think his numbers would be worse. If he was playing between Drouin and Mackinnon and seeing top PP time he'd have better numbers.

I don't get what your trying to say, Monahan literally had no talent around him and finished 15th overall in ppg in the OHL.
